Will NBA Follow In NFLs Footsteps To The UK?

Will NBA Follow In NFLs Footsteps To The UK?
There are a number of reasons why it would be easier to hold a regular season NBA match here in the UK. One of the most obvious is the fact that there is less room required! NFL requires a massive pitch area, like Wembley, whereas Basketball would not. In fact, there are adequate basketball arenas around the UK which could accommodate a NBA basketball match.
The next question would be whether there was sufficient interest. These types of question are always the imponderable ones. Well, before the first NFL match, it was common belief that it would be a complete flop! So someone had to take a risk and take the plunge anyway, which they did. Fortunately, it has caught on and it looks like there will be maybe more NFL flagship games played over here in the UK. So will someone try the same with NBA?
Evidently, there have been recent rumblings after the success of the NFL game, for the same organisers to hold talks about having maybe a pre-season NBA match here, leading to a full-blown league match. So the only real question that remains is will there be the interest? Oddly enough, this is where the gambling fraternity can help. This is because it is fairly easy to see the statistics for where the wagers are coming from for each and every form of online gambling. That means the statistics tell whether there is enough interest by gauging the levels of betting volume against the volumes of other sports.
I can therefore tell you that in the case of NBA there is definitely enough interest based on gambling patterns. In fact, there has been a steady increase in `sports betting` away from traditional betting sources like horse racing. There are a number of reasons for this and they would be better served by a full article in its own right, so suffice to say that the modern punter is looking at other sports especially in the US, because the advent of online betting has made it easier to understand those markets.
In recent years, there has been a surge in internet betting on NFL, MLB and NBA along with, to a lesser degree, their associated lower leagues like NCAAF and NCAAB. I am a case in point. I started out when I was younger betting on things like the football pools. I then progressed on to horse racing. When the internet got into full swing, I branched out into other online sports and got involved in Sports Betting. I admit to having little, or no idea at first, because it was all alien to me, however, with the aid of the internet, I was able to educate myself, learning the various slang and language associated with the different sports. It was at this point that I looked for a system to follow.
In my case, I came across a system, near the beginning of last seasons NBA, and followed it to the end in June of this year. I started out with A50, and bet A5 per match at first. By the end of the season in June 2010, I had accumulated nearly A3000! This was entirely due to one system which I followed rigidly. Yes, there were a few losses along the way, but overall, the system produced an overall win percentage of over 60%. This may not sound like a lot, but bearing in mind that only 54% will give you an overall profit, you will soon realize how massive this is!
The NBA has just started and I am again looking to make similar profits from this system over the next few months. In fact, the system has made similar profits for the last 4 seasons with all results verified independently. It would certainly make it all the sweeter if one of this seasons NBA matches were held in the UK.
